What Are You Doing With Your Time That God Has Given You?
The Bible teaches us there is a time and a place for everything. There is a time for you to repent, a time for you to get your life straightened up. There is a time god calls you and a time He doesn't. When Jesus Christ was walking up and down thee seas of Galilee going in and out of towns, the day He was there, healing was there, deliverance was there. Those who took advantage of that time received something those who didn't when He left they were in the same condition.
Ecc.3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:
Ecc. 3:2-8 A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up all that which is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to break down; and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; A time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, a time to sew; A time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace.
Time: A measurable period which an action or condition exists or continues.
You and I deal with hours, days, weeks, months, and years, God does not! The Bible speaks of God who exists eternally. The only way man can be eternally with God is to be saved. The soul is going to live forever somewhere. Where is your soul going to live? How many of you if God would come today would be saved? The Bible says Today is the day of Salvation. Today is the acceptable time. Today is the day to seek the Lord. But people today are seeking everything in the world. There is people who spend more time shopping in malls than they do church. They spend more time running the roads than in church. There are some that spend more time on the phone than in Bible studies. Time is running out!
Ecc. 9:12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
What time are you in? Are you in good times? Where you can feel the presence of the Lord and feel the Holy Ghost down inside you? Some have to remember back to how that feels as it has been so long. You don’t need to have to remember you need to continually get in the Spirit and praise God. I’ll tell you the very reason some people haven’t felt what they used to feel, it is the life style they keep, the things that are on their mind. Things they are involved in and are doing. They are wasting this precious time that God has given them. Time is running out and there is a world of lost people that need to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ! Churches that have never been told and understand the revelation of the name of Jesus Christ and nobody is out there saying Lord, here I am send me. I thank you for the revelation of the name, and I know time is running out and these people are lost. God use me. Nobody is in a hurry to get out and do that. They are too busy satisfying this old flesh. What I can do for myself and my family. Time is running out!
Job 14:1-6 Man that is born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not. And dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and bringest me into judgment with thee: Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? Not one. Seeing his days are determined, the number of this months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass; Turn for him, that he may rest, till he shall accomplish, as an hireling, his day.
You’re going to have trouble if you serve God or not! You are going to have trouble if you murmur or not. So get over there on God’s side and have somebody who can see you through your trouble and when you get over it you’ll have a good peaceful feeling inside knowing, like Job, I didn’t loose my dignity. Thank God I held on to the Almighty God. I don’t have to go back and make up ground. I am going to have trouble, I might as well have it with God, because you will have trouble.
Do you know when you are going to be cut down? How much time do you have? Everyone has plans and ambitions. But one day you are going to stand before an angry God. Your time will run out. Then you will have all the time with Satan and his angels down there. Has Satan got you so deceived that you live like you’re going to live here forever? The Lord is coming back someday, use your time accordingly!
